Kate Moore, MA, CCC-SLP
I have the best job! I get to help people make progress in their daily lives, helping that person directly and everyone they come into contact with indirectly.
I have been working as a speech-language pathologist since graduating from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, in 2018. I have over five years of clinical experience working in the outpatient setting, primarily with children. Additionally, I have two years of experience working in the public school system.
Working for the largest healthcare system in Minnesota and then in the schools made me realize that I wanted to follow my passion and current best research to provide clinical-quality care to my clients in their natural environments, that is, their homes.
It is best practice to see clients in their homes, especially: families with newborn babies who are having trouble feeding; young children with communication and feeding difficulties; and adults recovering from medical conditions.
